Change matters. In 1996, an unexpected professional change led clinical psychologist Jeff Hoffman, Ph.D., to the decision to take control of his future in a way that would allow him to focus his energy on public health communications. Drawing on his expertise in addiction treatment and research and relying on the help of friends, "Dr. Jeff" began writing government contract and grant proposals in his basement. He named his nascent company "Danya"—a blending of his children's names, Daniella, Yaniv, and Daphna. The name reflected that this company would be a personal and impactful change, both for his life and for the lives of those he hoped to reach through Danya's work.
Today, Danya International continues to make positive changes. We offer technology-enabled services to achieve social impact for the government, nonprofit, and commercial sectors. Our core service areas include:
With the guiding principle of "Innovative Solutions for Social Impact," we have won more than 150 contracts and grants that have allowed us to make a contribution by helping to reduce addictions, prevent diseases, promote the health and education of young children and their families, reduce hunger and increase food security, and promote diversity and inclusion in everything we do.
